County Down Boat Tours

I’m hoping the above list is of a little use in finding a boat trip in County Down. Unfortunately, many of the tour boat operators we came across had not got websites. The only contact information available was the telephone number. Therefore, I’d suggest also checking out TripAdvisor for reviews of the boat trips available within the county. If you’d like to recommend any trips to us, please drop us an email. Also, if these boat trip companies happen to build a website or update their info without us spotting it, please let us know. While you’re in County Down, I’d suggest taking a ramble up the Mourne mountains and in particular, climb Slieve Donard. From here you have fantastic views of the countryside and especially over the sea. The cover picture above is of my Ann Marie (and Skipper) looking out over Newcastle and the Irish Sea. A great spot to start your climb from is Bloody Bridge, just outside Newcastle. Enjoy your stay in County Down. Cheers. Cliff 🙂
