Tourist attractions, things to do and where to visit in Graiguenamanagh

Graiguenamanagh is one of my favourite towns in Ireland. In the southeast of county Kilkenny, it sits on both the river Barrow and river Duiske, nestled comfortably under Brandon Hill. It has a population of about fifteen hundred people is a beautiful spot to relax and spend a few days. If you are in Graiguenamanagh and looking for some local activities or adventures to do with the family or on your own, some your “things to do in Graiguenamanagh” should include:

While I’ve only managed to visit about two thirds of the above myself, most activites/things to do in graiguenamanagh are well recommended on all sites. The best advice would be to check out Trip Advisor for activities you’re interested in. Trip Advisor might also recommend things to do in Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny. I hope you have a great time exploring Graiguenamanagh or as the locals call it, Graig. But be sure to check out the surrounding areas also. Especially across the river in county Carlow at Tinnahinch or Clashganny. Graiguenamanagh is a fantastic town. Be sure to take a ramble along the river Barrow Towpath (Google the Barrow Way for more information). Let me know how you get on and if you discover any other outdoor activities in Graiguenamanagh or the area that you think are worth recommending. And if you end up in Kilkenny City as you holiday in this region, drop down to the Boat Trips in the city centre and say hello. All the best and enjoy.
