Things to do and places to see in Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny.

The following is an uncluttered list of things to do and tourist attractions in Bennettsbridge, county Kilkenny. I put it together as most websites or pages are full of adverts or pop- ups and its often very hard to just get a plane and simple list of things to do. In this list of “things to do” I’ve included the contact details and directions on google maps where possible. But you know yourself, its always best to do a little research yourself. Therefore, I’d suggest you to check out the various websites or if they are an activity provider, check them out on TripAdvisor. Hope you enjoy your time in Bennettsbridge. Its only about 9km down the road from ourselves in Kilkenny. In fact there is a lovely walk along by the river, that you can do if you are feeling energetic. Detail below. Enjoy!

A beautiful place to visit, Bennettsbridge.

If you are visiting Bennettsbridge, be sure to spend some time admiring the beautiful river Nore. There is a fantastic view of the river and weir from the bridge and a magnificent ramble is to be had along the Nore Valley Walk. It is a excellent walk and extremely enjoyable. Also, keep an eye open for Salmon, coming up the river and jumping over the weir. Its not uncommon to see them as the river Nore is an excellent Salmon Fishery. And if you do see them, you’ll surely be impressed. Magnificent creatures. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy your time in Bennettsbridge. I hope my list of “things to do” is of use to you. If you discovery any other recommendations that people should see or do, please let me know and I’ll add it to the list.
