Things to do in Freshford

If you are visiting Freshford, be sure to take the time to ramble around the Freshford Loop. It is a magical walk and extremely enjoyable. Its about 6km long and the Head or starting point is at the Square in the centre of Freshford Village. Its perfectly suitable for all the family. Click on the link for it above and see for yourself what’s involved. Aside from that, I would suggest taking time to enjoy the square in Freshford also. Just sit down on the grass, surrounded by beautiful trees and if its a nice day, buy yourself an ice cream. Its a lovely spot to just rest up and watch the world around you. I especially enjoy watching the birds flittering among the mature chestnut tress that surround the square in Freshford. Fantastic! Anyhow, I hope you enjoy your time in Freshford, As you can see, I’ve added a few spots to include things to do close by. If there is anything you think I need to add to my list of “Things to do in Freshford”, please let me know. Also, if you fancy exploring other parts of county Kilkenny, check out the links below. Cheers and all the best. Cliff
