Conformance Status

We are committed to delivering digital accessibility for all users and this website has been developed in line with recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These standards have guided our approach to design, content, and functionality, helping us create an experience that is as inclusive and user-friendly as possible for everyone. We will continue to maintain and enhance the accessibility of this website as part of our ongoing commitment to digital inclusion. Please be informed of the non-accessible content below:

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

  • Bokun Booking Engine: Our embedded booking engine, provided by Bokun, is a third-party integration and may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance. While we work closely with Bokun to address accessibility concerns, we do not have full control over its development or updates.
  • Podcast Embed (Blog Post): A podcast player embedded via iFrame in our blog post “Clifford Reid Interview” (https://boattrips.ie/2024/06/07/clifford-reid-interview-crkc/) contains the following accessibility issues:
    • Elements do not meet minimum color contrast ratio thresholds
    • Some touch targets are smaller than 24px and do not leave sufficient space

This is a third-party embed and we have limited control over its accessibility features. Third-party Applications: Some third-party applications integrated into our site are not fully accessible. Despite our best efforts, we cannot control the accessibility of these elements.
