Boat Tours of Laois

Boating about in Laois
We operate from two location in County Laois. These being Graiguecullen and Vicarstown. From Vicarstown, passengers are treated to the beauty and history of some of Ireland’s most unique built heritage, the Grand canal. This impressive man-made waterway cuts through the arable lands of Ireland’s Grain counties and is home to an abundance of wildlife from otters to kingfishers, both of which are regularly seen on our boat tours. The second location is from Grainguecullen. From here, we navigate the river Barrow. Like the Grand canal, this stretch of river is steeped in history and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Barrow valley and Blackstairs mountains. Have a look at our FaceBook page for pictures and reviews from others that have taken these boat trips. Boat tours from both locations operate regularly but advance booking is essential.
